That belief became the foundation of IniSHEated. Each act of adornment is an opportunity to consciously create ourselves. Fashion, beauty, and design become the tools through which we give visible form to what lives within.

Too often, our expression is shaped by conditioning instead of essence. We inherit ideas of what beauty should look like, what femininity should look like, and eventually our expression begins to reflect the world more than ourselves. I believe many of today's dominant beauty and lifestyle standards encourage Black women to express ourselves the same way, making it harder to hear the voice of our own essence.

IniSHEated has evolved into a design ecosystem devoted to the art of embodiment.

SHE does’t dress to impress.

SHE dresses to express the marriage of the body and the soul.

SHE initiated herself.

Again and again.

With every expression, SHE became more embodied.

With every embodiment, SHE became more herself.

And that journey never ends.
